This smartphone mount can either be attached to your car's dashboard using the strong adhesive built-in the included dash base with tilt up/down and extendable/retractable arm further or closer from the dashboard *OR* the ball mounted head can instead be attached to a standard air vent mount by putting the squeeze mount head onto the air vent adapter instead. (Does not use extendable/tilting arm in vent mount mode)
